Upalghosh Associates is a multi-discipline firm offering consultancy in Architecture, Urban Design, Planning, Engineering & Interiors. The firm is based in New Delhi and was established in 1981 by Mr. Upal Ghosh. He had been the Principal Design Partner of the Architectural firm Pradhan Ghosh and Associates (PGA) between 1962 and 1981. PGA was dissolved after the formation of UPALGHOSH ASSOCIATES.

The three partners, Upal Ghosh, Ujan Ghosh and Kajol Ghosh collectively bring a vast resource of professional experience on a wide variety of projects. The projects range from Hotels to Educational Campuses, from Temple to Townships, from Cultural Centre to IT Parks, from Industrial Estates to Hospitals, from Multi Storied Condominiums to Individual Bungalow and Interior Design of a variety of facilities. Repeat work for clients, and for new clients introduced by them, reconfirm the substance of the organization. The firm has won several Prestigious Architectural Competitions.

We approach each project individually, through team effort, with a select group of consultants. Throughout the project's duration, the direct responsibility remains with the partners and the project architects; thus, assuring an interactive and personalized Client-Architect relationship. UGA follows an ethical code of practice, and any misconduct is totally condemned by us.

The design philosophy of the firm is simple and direct:-

• Each space or place we design and build, must work efficiently for the client / user.
• Each project must be built within time and estimated budget.
• Existing context must be respected and appropriately incorporated in the design, for a sustainable environment.
• Style is not preconceived; but explored, evolved and suitably used in each design.
